The AssetSnap website is intentionally lightweight. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and we do not run third-party analytics that profile you. The Site may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies or use similar storage required for security and basic functionality. The AssetSnap macOS app itself does not use cookies.

3. Third-party services

When you proceed to purchase, you are taken to our payment provider, Polar, on its own domain (buy.polar.sh). Polar may set its own cookies, which are governed by Polar's policies. Features that load images or icons request them from third-party providers (placehold.co, picsum.photos, DiceBear, and Iconify), which may receive your IP address as part of any ordinary web request.
