FAQ's

Questions, briefly answered.

One price: a one-time $14.90 lifetime license, currently $6.99 as a launch price for the first 20 buyers. Pay once and own it forever - it unlocks all six tools in full, includes every future macOS update, and gets you the Windows/Linux builds free when they ship.
No. AssetSnap is a one-time purchase, not a subscription - there are no recurring charges, no renewals, and nothing to cancel. You pay once and own it forever, including every future macOS update and free Windows/Linux upgrades when they ship.
After checkout, Polar emails you a license key (format ASNAP-XXXX-XXXX-…). Open AssetSnap, click "I have a key" on the paywall, paste the key, and hit Activate. The app stores it locally and revalidates silently in the background, you never see a login screen again.
Yes, one license activates up to 2 Macs (e.g. a desktop and a laptop). If you switch machines later, you can free a slot from the Polar customer portal and activate the new Mac.
Color, Lorem Ipsum, and downloads work fully offline. The Placeholders and Icon Finder tabs hit their respective public APIs (placehold.co, picsum.photos, DiceBear, Iconify) when you copy a URL or download, that's the point of them.
Straight into ~/Downloads, then the app reveals the file in Finder so you can drag it where you need it. No intermediate save dialog.
No account, no telemetry, no analytics. The app makes outbound requests only to the asset APIs you explicitly ask it to, and only when you click Copy URL or Download.
Windows is actively in development; Linux is on the roadmap after that. There's no firm date, I'd rather ship them when they feel as good as the macOS build. Anyone who buys today gets both for free.
macOS 14 (Sonoma) and later, on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs (one universal build). The installed app is just 3.6 MB.
